Hugh Sarah was a cartoonist, poet, scientist and high school star athlete.  Born to working class parents in rural Michigan he was the first of his family to attend college, graduating with his BS in Biology in 1968.   His friends describe him as honorable, funny, bright, caring and joyous.  He served in the military and died in Vietnam in 1969.
